Who Is D Bazz?
D Bazz is the current Bassist for Grammy nominated R&B Group, Sister Sledge. If his name and face seem familiar to you, it's no surprise - he's been on some of the top TV and news channel outlets, such as CNN, BBC, and most recently TV ONE.

With gospel music as his foundation, Dbazz has studied many styles, and has learned to play them with authenticity. It is that versatility that has opened the door for him to work with some of the top names in the industry. He's performed with George Benson, Cece Peniston, Rebecca St James, Adina Howard, Dorinda Clark, Tank, Joey DeFrancesco, Tamia, and Kirk Franklin, just to name a few. You can hear and feel his deep groove on the 2010 Disney Reggae Club compilation album, playing bass guitar on the remake of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by World famous roots reggae group Morgan Heritage.

On The Move

These days, when he's not on tour with Sister Sledge, you'll find him working on various projects. He was holding down the low end for Adina Howard on the TV show "Unsung" which airs on the TV ONE network. Or maybe you saw him playing bass for Kev Onstage, Tony Baker and Tahir Moore, for their "Real Comedians of Social media" tour.

One never knows what the future may bring, but you can be sure that "D Bazz" Jones will be somewhere in the mix. He's always working to reinvent himself, to stay relevant at what he loves.
